A whole chapter, more than 17 mins of this book, was spent advertising the authors other books on the same topic. None of the inductions, or guidelines were anything you couldn't learn by spending 20mins on Google. Don't waste your money

A great book from start to finish. As a Psych student, and a sufferer of depression, this is a topic of deep interest, and the approach Johann Hari takes here is very interesting indeed.

I have found this difficult to sit through. I don't know why the effects have been put on the voices, but it is quite annoying.

Story
Joe Dispenza, DC, has spent decades studying the human mind-how it works, how it stores information, and why it perpetuates the same behavioral patterns over and over. In the acclaimed film What the Bleep Do We Know!?, he began to explain how the brain evolves - by learning new skills, developing the ability to concentrate in the midst of chaos, and even healing the body and the psyche. Evolve Your Brain presents this information in depth, while helping you take control of your mind.

Not based on science

This is labelled as scientific, but it's based on one off experienced and makes claims of the ridiculous, such as healing broken spines by thinking about what a healthy spine looks like etc. I could barely sit through the first few chapters.
