Amazing and thoughtful book that goes beyond the media and highlights the victims story as much as the murderers. Really tough subject but essential reading to cut through the mis-truths and learn the facts.

Very sweetly told but sad book with a great Aussie feel to it. Listening to it as an audiobook with Matt Okine narrating adds a lovely extra dimension. Recommended fun, light read for the upcoming holidays.

Huge fan of the podcast and the book did not disappoint. Since starting to listen to the podcast I've really changed my outlook on many things - how I interact with others, how I treat other women, how much I know about myself, how to own everything I think and feeling. They really are awesome. So happy this book is finally out and really very pleased with their success. Empowering and brilliant women who deserve their place teaching the world to be a better, more positive place.

I missed out reading this in school, unlike most Australian teenagers in the 90s. Not a bad story, very much youth fiction though.

The narration was a bit meh and I thought the use of accents was a bit off/casually racist.

The book/story is great. This audiobook is phenomenal. The huge cast and the way it is read made me so captivated and enjoy the book so much more than I think I could have as just text. Can't wait to see the TV show now!

Early works by Welsh are chaotic, sometimes stream of consciousness stuff. This is what made me love him in the first place!

A fun collection of short stories, many you wouldn't want to listen to in the presence of your mother! Hilarious, depraved, depressing and entertaining - a must read for Welsh fans but not overly accessible to those that aren't fans!

In the quality of the audio for this recording is quite bad, so recommend you listen in a quiet environment.

Funny story about some pretty gross individuals. Sort of seemed very much like this was something that happens in trailer parks in the US every day which is kind of depressing. Overall a pretty enjoyable story & recommended for fans of transgressive fiction.

Listened to lots of this on Audible (as well as reading on Kindle) and thought the narrator (Brandon Paul Eells) was exceptional!
