Lily hasn't always had it easy, but that's never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She's come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up - she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily's life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.

I cannot describe in a few sentences how much I hate this book. The message was lost in this obvious, saccharine and cloying story.

You can run from your past, but the truth will always find you. Luckiest Girl Alive is an intense, compulsive debut thriller, described by Reese Witherspoon as 'the kind of book that grabs you and doesn't let go'. Now a New York Times best seller and optioned for film by Reese Witherspoon and her production partner, Bruna Papandrea, in conjunction with Lionsgate Films. Her perfect life is a perfect lie....

Any additional comments?

Ani is an unlikable character. I spent the whole book trying to find her redeeming qualities. I could not. The story feels like it leads nowhere. It has been compared to gone girl, I think this is an inaccurate comparison, as the quality of gone girl is markedly superior.

After her senior year of high school leaves behind nothing but heartache, Olivia Beaumont is sure of this: She's no stupid girl. She sets out for Winston College, promising herself that she will remain focused on her first and only love - astronomy. But all it takes is cocky sophomore Brax Jenkins and an accidental collision with a football, to throw her entire year off course.

Nice story but not very original. A cross between twilight (sans vampires) and the movie she's all that.

The key to living a happier, healthier life is inside us. Our gut is almost as important to us as our brain or our heart, yet we know very little about how it works. In Gut, Giulia Enders shows that rather than the utilitarian and - let's be honest - somewhat embarrassing body part we imagine it to be, it is one of the most complex, important, and even miraculous parts of our anatomy.

The research in this book is interesting. However it did not give enough advice on what to do if you suffer with gut problems. Overall disappointed will be returning this title.
