It’s a war filled with larger than life characters. There will be sledging, accusations of cheating, theft and performance enhancing drugs. And allegations that Australia was cheated out of a Guinness World Record. In the process of charting the scandal-plagued race to breed the world’s hottest chilli, the audio documentary lifts the lid on the subculture of ‘Chilli-heads’, hardcore chilli fans spread across the globe who compete in chilli eating and breeding competitions.

Thoroughly enjoyed the investigation into the dramatic, competitive and cut throat world of chilli growing. It is a very refreshing look at the people involved in the competition, and the audiobook provided a 'podcast-like' medium for the normally visual journalism of Marc Fennell. Enjoyed it and would definitely recommend to others!

It touched my heart listening to Osher's difficult journey navigating the unknown and confronting journey of mental illness. His vivid descriptions of the emotions and thoughts he encountered made the story relatable to empathetic readers. A beautiful story of recovery from rock bottom, I would recommend to others who enjoy emotional biographies. My only minor criticism is the occasional nuggets of advice that come across a little "preachy", and the excessive conversational footnotes scattered throughout.

Busy Philipps' autobiographical audiobook offers the same unfiltered and candid storytelling that her Instagram followers have come to know and love, from growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and her painful and painfully funny teen years to her life as a working actress, mother and famous best friend. Busy is the rare entertainer whose impressive arsenal of talents as an actress is equally matched by her storytelling ability, sense of humor and sharp observations about life, love and motherhood.

Busy's autobiography was a very interesting listen/read. I loved how raw and real the memories that she shared were, (made even more so as she narrated then). The traumatic incidents made me cry, the moments of hope made me smile and the enormous amounts of love for her family made my heart fill.

I would recommend this to those who enjoy a simple read with some emotional layers. It's not just another celebrity recounting all the gossip from a National Enquirer.
