am happy I listened to these stories because they educated me... but at the same time, am very sad that these hardships were a daily reality for those innocent people. I just cannot comprehend how the government had stolen a generation of kids... i just can't fathem the cruelty in that horrible chapter of the recent Australian history.

a couple of good ideas in the beginning, repeated over and over to the extent it becomes really boring and dull after the 6th chapter.

I found this book a big waste of time. they keep talking and talking and talking about their heroic stories, and just the last 30% of every chapter is a meaningful applicable lesson. seriously, there are book whose writers are straight to the point with no fluffing around, like Atomic habits. This book however, is not one of them. if you'd like to listen to endless stories however, you might enjoy it. I didn't.

the introduction is like war and peace... sooo long that you wonder what this book is all about. then, in chapter 3, you realize you can't continue the book, you also realize that everything you listened to so far is about HER (the author) and her other books, and her company, etc... sorry, can't continue this agony past chapter 3. maybr the author should learn how a book can be concise and straight to the point by reading something like: Atomic habits. just a suggestion.

very thorough book on property investment. yes it is focused on the UK market, but I live in Australia and I definitely benefited from reading it. many concepts are global so wherever you are, this is a great book. It is narrated REALLY well.
