Entertaining, suspenseful. Decent fantasy read but Robert's is becoming formulaic like Eddings. Still love her though.

Plot was good although the red herrings were obvious and the twist a bit predictable, nevertheless there were a couple of nice surprises.
The protagonist comes across as a bit whiny and tries too hard. The narration didn't help the character either.
Entertaining light read.

A good light read. Well paced. Bit cheesy though. Would be better for YA fiction.

A bit boring and of the child is annoying but has a couple of good twists.

A bit slow and drawn out. Narrator saves it.

Lucky this one was narrated by one of my favourites Caroline Lee as it was a bit slow and drawn out. I did enjoy it but was glad when it was over.

I get that there are very important lessons to be learnt from this book but it just dragged on and on.

Took a while to get into this book but I was soon hooked and couldn't stop listening. Fantastic character development in this story. I like how the focus shifted from the younger sister to the older one.

The story was good but the female narrator's voice was very annoying, she sounds like a breathless child. The main female character also expected too much of the boy.

I just couldn't get into the book. The main character was made to be too dislike-able at the beginning in order to set up the story.

A little slow going but great narration

The entertaining narration made up for the slow pace of this book. Hearing all the different london accents was very entertaining.
