This could have been a good yarn ... a great yarn. However the author, Will Jordan, injected too much of his far-left woke and sexist dogma. Give it a miss.

Good story spoiled by poor narration. Narration is way too slow and very poor inflection. Maybe the narrator would be more suitable for a different genre.

Like most books on audible, this one fits in with amazons woke sjw agenda. Mariani has a really distorted view of the world. Don't bother with this book or any of Mariani others. Get woke, go broke.

Reader Hawkins leeches out most of the enjoyment of this book by a cringe-worthy and excruciating depiction of supporting characters. Hawkins doesn't seem to understand that absolutely NO-ONE speaks the way he represents the supporting characters in the story.

Mariani's depiction of the behavior of females and young adults is cringe-worthy. If Mariani's book is a reflection of his own actual experience of females and young adults, then I feel very sorry for him. His depiction of the character Jude is excruciating and has actually turned me away from his series.

A great novel, spoiled by the authors far-left sexism and misandry just below the surface. Hill believes it is his role to diminish white men and speak out for women and gays. Hill believes that women and minorities are nothing without him. An inconvenient fact : Statistically, women are responsible for MOST killings of children and assaults on children.

Don't bother with this one. Jensen is a self absorbed far-left sjw snowflake. He is a USER. He uses other folks heartache and pain to further his own ego. He wraps his pathology of narcissism in a tissue thin veneer of 'doing good'. He is also sexist and racist is his choice of victims to help. This book could have been really good, but like all the far-left, Jensen is emotionally immature. This book is a vehicle for Jensen to get the attention and recognition he so desperately craves.

Connelly went way overboard on injecting his far-left racist and sexist political agenda into this novel. This one is NOT what I would call quality literature. Don't bother.
