This audio edition of the international best seller Way of the Peaceful Warrior is based on the story of Dan Millman, a world-class gymnast who has it all, but is troubled by a vague sense of dissatisfaction with his everyday life. He meets an eccentric old mentor named Socrates, who sets him on a spiritual odyssey that will ultimately deliver or destroy him. Along the way Dan encounters realms of light and darkness, of romance and magic, as he learns what it means to live as a peaceful warrior.

Dan takes us on a journey of seeking thru to learning then action and the reason being to obtain and retain happiness. he is a provoking thought storyteller, meaning he makes us as the reader think individually and independently. metaphysical books are sometimes regurgitating the same message, but Dan maintains a steady pace of refreshing new informative messages throughout the entire book. such a joy to hear him audibly when having read in 1992 at age 28. it is now 2018. I enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Dan u r truly inspiring and transformed my life one of idly observing to participating in admirable action making ends meet time and time again these 3 decades. u r to be congratulated on a book before it's time almost....but just right for mainstream too.
