This is not your cookie cutter romance standard. Written with intelligent and thoughtful scenarios that make the story interesting with substance. The narration is excellent and clear (although the accents are not brilliant - but not enough to put me off). Will be looking forward to more from this author as she has a refreshing style to this romantic genre. Great buy!

The deal is only for a year of marriage, but Hayden's going into it knowing it will be a nightmare. The narration is good (not great) and didn't bother me as the story line was so engaging and i thoroughly enjoyed listening to the book. Cant wait to see more from G. Benson in the future.

I dont often write reviews but this one surprised me enough to let you all know how utterly I was entranced by this author. There was no slow lead up or "getting to know characters" that you may see with other books... from the start of the book she had you finding every second you could find to see what happens next. Believable and suspenseful with great character definition and not a cliche in sight.
Narrator did an good job and i enjoyed listening to her. No issues here and i read other reviews wondering why they marked the narrator badly??
It is the beginning of a series but the story itself does not leave me feeling that it is unfinished... just makes me look forward to more from Rachel Caine with this genre.
EXCELLENT BOOK, WELL WRITTEN
CLEAR AND EASY TO LISTEN TO NARRATOR.

Gerri Hill does this storyline proud. Im loving this series and i know there are a few still in production as there are ones we are currently missing on Audible (as of Apr16). Hopefully soon we will have the full series and I can listen to them all again - in sequence. Strong believable characters and girls that will melt your heart as they grow ever closer. Cameron had me the moment she adopted the cat.
Narrator is Abby Crayden. There is no better so it is always 10/10.

The clear emotion from the event which shocked the world is conveyed and felt. This was a situation that actually happened in Canada because of 9/11 and it was fascinating to read about it. The developing romance between the girls is absorbing and lovely. Georgia always writes well and im more than happy to get anything with her name on it.
The narrator did an excellent job as well.

I have had this title in my library for a little while and didn't get to it straight away as the synopsis was less than thrilling to be honest. But lets face it, it's Georgia and she always does right by us. I was also thrilled to note that she is the narrator and did a wonderful job and i have to say it made it a little extra special as i knew each tone and voice was presented as the author intended. It really did make a difference.
What a wonderful story of the journey for these two girls to find their happy ending (no spoiler intended - you knew it was going to be) I love the honesty between Avery and Alena and Georgia drawing you into their world so completely. I could be biased as i'm sitting here in tears having just finished it, but not needing more as the story was so well done and well rounded. I have laughed out loud, giggled, sympathised and cried through this one, Georgia is just that good at sweeping us along with her.
WELL WORTH THE CREDIT. I will read this one again and again. Thanks Georgia Beers.

I cannot believe how much i laughed out loud while listening to this book. I loved every minute of it and cant wait for the next in this series. (not ready until Nov 2016 but it is coming!) Radclyffe has a special talent to make each series very different and to bring the characters each their own foibles, strengths and needs. I hope there is more coming with Blake and Maggie in future books for this series. Well worth my credit and i will read this many more times.
Abby Craden would have to be the best narrator i have heard and any book with her reading is a double bonus and worth buying for her alone. Her voice is clear with a gorgeous sultry edge when needed still keeping clear character definition.

I could not stop listening, well into the small hours of the morning. Overwhelmingly good story that keeps you in their world. The cliche synopsis does nothing to reveal the beautiful relationship development and engrossing story between Ryan and Jen. I loved it and highly recommend using a credit.
The narrator does a good job with voices that are clear and easy to listen too.

With a relentless TV lawyer and public mob still out for Lillian Linden-Smith's blood for crimes committed by her "American royalty" parents, getting out of the country is her only hope for anonymity. If that means cleaning up and presenting an antisocial know-it-all Ph.D. for bookstores, clubs and lectures, fine. Dr. Hathaway may have succeeded in driving away all the others, but not this time. Unique writing for this romance made the book fun to listen to. The narrator was ok but her voices were sometimes difficult to listen too. She cannot do English/Scottish/Welsh accents and that can be forgiven. But to give the "butch" character a light breathy voice and the "fem" a strong deeper voice I found it annoying when trying to set the character in my head.
A good easy listen that doesn't really leave any great effect.
