"oddly" because of all the showbiz stories (for which I normally care little)... "compelling" because it is honest, intriguing and completely interesting. It has some recap and a tiny bit of repetition from Moab - but well worth the purchase. I expect my enjoyment of it was enabled at least in part by Mr Fry's wonderful performance of the anecdotes of his deserved transformation from boyhood blaggard to manly maestro.

Fascinating honesty, beautifully told

This is only the second audiobook I have completed. I've started many others but was unable to complete them due to irritating or boring narration. I was captivated by this one though and feel impressed, enriched and inspired. Thank you Mr Fry.
