Eastern Body, Western Mind
- Psychology and the Chakra System as a Path to the Self
- By: Anodea Judith
- Narrated by: Laura Jennings
- Length: 16 hrs and 50 mins
In Eastern Body, Western Mind, chakra authority Anodea Judith has brought a fresh approach to the yoga-based Eastern chakra system, adapting it to the Western framework of Jungian psychology, somatic therapy, childhood developmental theory, and metaphysics. Illuminated with personal anecdotes and case studies, Eastern Body, Western Mind seamlessly merges the East and West, science and philosophy, and psychology and spirituality into a compelling interpretation of the chakra system and its relevance for Westerners today.

Beneficial and essential for the fairly new Yogi!
As a newbie to the spiritual path, having started yoga practice only a year ago. I found this book incredibly insightful, educational and easy to read! I preferred reading it myself however as i thought the narrator did not have much expression and did not put emphasis where it needed it. Overall it is a great read for someone of the western mind wanting to explore eastern philosophy and learn about our chakras! Loved it!
