- Length: 18 hrs and 37 mins
Zachary Ezra Rawlins is a graduate student in Vermont when he discovers a strange book hidden in the library stacks. As he turns the pages, entranced by tales of lovelorn prisoners, key collectors, and nameless acolytes, he reads something strange: a story from his own childhood. Bewildered by this inexplicable book and desperate to make sense of how his own life came to be recorded, Zachary uncovers a series of clues that lead him to a masquerade party in New York, to a secret club, and through a doorway to a subterranean library, hidden far below the surface of the earth.

Beautiful writing narrated with excellence
A story about stories, their import, their fancy and allure. So many bits that resonated with me, touching my heart, making me smile, yearn, laugh and cry. Thank you for sharing, Miss Erin Morgenstern.
The narration takes its time and let's the characters live through the story rather than rushing them to the end.
Overall a wonderful experience that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Stepsister takes up where Cinderella's tale ends. We meet Isabelle, the younger of Cinderella's two stepsisters. Ella is considered beautiful; stepsister Isabelle is not. Isabelle is fearless, brave, and strong-willed. She fences better than any boy, and takes her stallion over jumps that grown men fear to attempt. It doesn't matter, though; these qualities are not valued in a girl. Others have determined what is beautiful, and Isabelle does not fit their definition.
What a good story

The Fairy Tale you want to read to your daughters
The best interpretation of Grimm's Wolf I have come across so far.
I cried with sympathy and relief and sorrow and truth.
Read it - and then tell the tale to your daughters.
