Vocabulary only, no phrases. 3000 words and no phrases. I might as well read a dictionary.

Possibly the worst attempt at speaking French outside Joey from Friends. It sounds like someone with absolutely no knowledge of French reading for the first time in an American accent.

Very hard to listen to a Russian accent so thick it sounds like a cartoon villain stereotype.

I work with about 90 native Hindi and assorted other Indian language speakers and they cannot understand a lot of Pimsleur Hindi when they hear it directly. They say the words and phrases are very antiquated and that nobody actually speaks like that. So, the course should be heavily discounted and a Modern Hindi compiled and recorded.

None of Sarah Retter's Spanish, German, French and Italian titles have a native speaker. Barry G Benson reading Italian is particularly painful to listen to. Can't wait for the Russian, Hebrew and Arabic instalments

Probably the best language series of all the 500+ titles in 27 languages I have purchased. And unlike Pimsleur, not mostly spoken in English. You will be speaking and thinking in Italian in no time.

Where does Rilkey 613 Italian Dialogues rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Nowhere else will you find translations for "The force is strong in this one", "Do you want fries with that" or "I've come to take your blood". And the English is spoken with a native Italian accent.

Would you listen to Learn in Your Car: Japanese, the Complete Language Course again? Why?

Very good reading speed, pronunciation and format. And the pdf is exactly the same order as the audio for memorization purposes (as is Japanese for you). Easy to listen to for 9 hours straight, without the irritating syllable by syllable breakdown and ludicrously slow pronunciation of most of the other titles.
