I loved the narration of this story. I’m fond of the backwards and forwards narration, only you fo have to keep up with it. Overall this story was great, it was a reasonable pace and not always predictable.

A wonderfully captivating story that continues to evolve.

I wasn’t sure about the story when I first started listening to it, but I found it quite addictive as I got to know the characters. I can see Jean in my mind as clear as anything. Overall a great story that sadly does smatter the reality that we live in.

Although this book was predictable, it still kept me captivated. I love the way Kate Hewitt’s book flow gently but precisely through to a climax. I could picture wee Emily and felt great empathy for both Rachel and Eva. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves to read stories of hope.

Well I didn’t expect that twist and I’m usually pretty good at predicting them. Probably my favourite Kelly Rimmer book to date.

A lovely easy listen. Mostly predictable but with a twist at the end I never expected. I loved listening to this story and felt it really did express how many truly feel.

I found this book a little slow to start with, but once I got through the first four chapters it took on a life of its own. I loved it, simple as that. It was a little predictable but any book that makes me cry on multiple occasions is a good book! The narration was great too.I would recommend this book without hesitation.

I really enjoyed this book although it was initially slow . Predictable, cliche, yet I wanted to keep listening and I’m pleased I did because I thoroughly enjoyed the last half of the story. If you like soppy and emotional reads then this is for you.

I do really enjoy Heather Gudenkauf’s books and this one is no exception. The story flowed well and apart from the odd error with voices not matching the character, I did enjoy it. It was however quite predictable so if you are wanting a book with big surprises, this isn’t it.

It was a good listen but one that I felt was a bit slow to begin with. Some great twists towards the end make it a worthwhile book.

Even though the book was a little slow to start, its worth persevering. I found it became more intense after chapter 17. Thoroughly enjoyed the storyline.
