Story
London, 2019. Life has been easy for Maxim Trevelyan. With his good looks, aristocratic connections and money, he’s never had to work, and he’s rarely slept alone. But all that changes when tragedy strikes and Maxim inherits his family’s noble title, wealth, and estates, and all the responsibility that entails. It’s a role he’s not prepared for and one that he struggles to face. But his biggest challenge is fighting his desire for an unexpected, enigmatic young woman who’s recently arrived in England, possessing little more than a dangerous and troublesome past.

I think E.L. James has really hit the mark with this one. Love story with suspense and intrigue. The production of this audiobook is really good, especially liked the piano, the narrators Jessica O'Hara & Dominic Thorburn\ read the really well. To me an audiobook which is like a movie playing in my head is fantastic and that's what I got from this one.

Another fantastic story by Sylvain Reynard, this time paranormal which is a first for me and what a great introduction it was. It is also a love story and in typical Sylvain Reynard fashion is very tastefully told. Robertson Dean brilliantly narrates The Roman picking up from the late John Michael Morgan.

7YR OLD STEP-GRAND DAUGHTER'S 1ST AUDIO BOOK
Reviewed: 26-05-2015
I gave Matilda (the book) and the audio book along with an iPod to my 7 yr old step-granddaughter for Christmas. She knew the story of Matilda but didn't have the book herself so I thought I would get her both the book and the audio book too. It was her first experience with an audio book and I encouraged her to read-along with the book and audio. She loved it. She said the lady (Kate Winslet) reading the story to her is very good and her voice is lovely. I think audio books, along with the physical book is a great way to encourage children to read. Hopefully she'll be like me and love her audio books and have a vast collection like I do.

Gideon calls me his angel, but he’s the miracle in my life. My gorgeous, wounded warrior, so determined to slay my demons while refusing to face his own. The vows we'd exchanged should have bound us tighter than blood and flesh. Instead they opened old wounds, exposed pain and insecurities, and lured bitter enemies out of the shadows. I felt him slipping from my grasp, my greatest fears becoming my reality, my love tested in ways I wasn’t sure I was strong enough to bear.

We waited so long for Book 4 and sadly I don't think it met up with my expectations based on how good the first 3 books were.
The story line was lacking in substance. Jill Redfield was good but again there was something lacking. Jeremy York was OK reading Gideon POV.
I was really disappointed with Captivated by You. I hope book 5 is better.

You must overcome all your fears, confront the demons that chase you, and cleanse the poison that clings to your soul or you risk the chance of losing everything. Mine started the minute Rylee fell out of that damn storage closet. She made me feel. Made me whole when all I thought I could ever be was incomplete. Became the lifeline I never knew I needed. Hell yes, she's worth the fight - but how do you fight for someone you know you don't deserve?

Excellent Conclusion to Driven Trilogy
Reviewed: 05-08-2014
Where does Crashed rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I have 100s of audio books and this ranks very highly
What did you like best about this story?
I cried, laughed and at times wanted to shake Colton & Rylee but it is really the best conclusion to the trilogy
What about Tatiana Sokolov and Sean Crisden ’s performance did you like?
It took me a while to get my head around Tatiana's narration and accept her as Rylee, having read the books first but she improved as the story went on.
Sean Crisden narrated Colton POVs brilliantly, he put so much emotion into the role and his voice is just so sexy. Loved him.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Too many to list here - suffice to say the whole trilogy is brilliant.
Any additional comments?
Kristy Bromberg is a brilliant author and I eagerly await her future work.
