Story
A mysterious stranger known as 'The Wolf' leaves an infant with the sisters of Santo Spirito. A tiny silver key hidden in her wrappings is the only clue to the child's identity and so begins a story as intriguing and beautiful as the city of Florence itself. Belinda Alexandra's new novel, Tuscan Rose, is set in Italy during the time of Mussolini. This richly woven tale of passion, love, longing, witchcraft and magic promises to be everything her readers love and more.

Really enjoyed this, even though the content was at times harrowing, it was read so beautifully it never felt like you were listening to something horrific.
I listen for pleasure so I don't enjoy feeling awful when listening but the reading of this was so lovely that didn't happen.

Story
What if they hadn't gone? That's the question Clementine can't stop asking herself. It was just a backyard barbeque. They didn't know their hosts that well. They were friends of friends. They could so easily have said no. But she and her husband, Sam, said yes, and now they can never change what they did and didn't do that beautiful winter's day.

This book was very good but it drove me crazy at times. It wandered at times. I’m sure some will love it but it just wasn’t quite me.
