I find the Shetland stories a little slow. Otherwise I do enjoy them and recommend

Struggled to finish, only did as it was a book club read. The one thing that kept me going was it was well written and easy to listen to. Otherwise, too much going on, too many storylines and too many loose unnecessary ends. Main protagonist is totally unbelievable and you don't develop any connection with her.

this is really a collection of Jack Reacher biography. Loved reading about his childhood and family interactions. Well worth the read.

Little disappointed with the narration, especially the faux female voice, otherwise it was a good listen and worth considering.

the seemingly 3 separate story lines gradually merge into one present day crime spree.
the narrator, with different voice tonings really helps with the moving back and forth between stories.
