I have read this story three times, have been entertained every single time and love it more each time.
Rupert Degas is a masterful Story reader and has read this story with as much care as Patrick rothfuss has taken in writing it.
I highly recommend this to anybody and hope that you will read it.
Mr. Rothfuss please hurry up and bring out the third book I can't wait.

I enjoyed it but I think this is a teenage book, not a younger children's story. plenty of excitement and scary moment, it is also very well read.
good job.

Nice work Shad, congratulations!
I liked the originality of this story and the world mechanics, Shad put a lot of thought into it which resulted in a magnificently detailed story.
I thought the characters were overall well thought through, but I did find that the emotions seemed to swing fairly drastically from one side to the other, like a pendulum. This may have been an area where Shad could have spent a little more time perfecting.
Some of the humour was just... nerdy... but that's ok.
Overall I loved the story and would be interested to see how Shad moves it on, I am also keenly interested to watch his progression in this field.
I couldn't help but notice very strong religious links, but thankfully they were done tastefully and I don't think anyone will be put out by it.
Well don't mate.

This third book is the perfect conclusion to the story. I was constantly left wondering what would happen next.
Brilliant!
I also love how the author depicted the social and political manipulation, and how it can be used. This felt like it could actually happen.
I highly recommend this whole series with the finale being the perfect ending.

I really enjoyed this book and will be getting the next one in the series when my credit comes through. I have listened to this first book at least two times.

Get it and enjoy it! Full of action and scifi mixed with espionage.

Hope this helps :-)

This is my favourite series and the finale (year 4) was the perfect way to wrap it up.
By itself the book is very comprehensive and enjoyable, but if you make sure that you have read all the books in this series (including corpses and the one about Titan, sorry I forgot the title) then this book becomes something soo much better.
Drew Hayes has an amazing ability to write books that have so much depth of character and such a well thought out storyline that when combined with Kyle McCarley's second to none narrating abilities becomes a story that you don't want to end. I keep listening to all the books in this series and have marvelled at how Drew has been able to make me care about a bunch of characters in a book as if they were friends of mine.
I love this whole series and cannot recommend it enough. Even if you are not into super heroes, you will love this.
Thanks Drew Hayes and Kyle McCarley!

I started this series and found it slow but compelling. By the time I got to the ending on this third book I am totally wrapped up by the story. The depth of character and connections that the author (Justin Cronin) built into this story makes you feel like it could all be real. There were times when I literally shed a tear and felt heart broken for some of the characters (and I'm a cold hearted person).
I highly recommend this whole series if you are looking for something to absorb yourself into. It has many many layers, but it has a beautifully well written ending. This series is like nothing I have ever read.

This story takes a while to wind up, but when it has finally finished the winding you are rewarded for enduring through with characters that have unique identities within a story that has loads of depth.
At first I was a bit disappointed and impatient with the wind up, but now I have finished this book I cannot see any other way to paint the picture required.
I loved the story and have purchased the next story.
This is a truly epic story, with a huge timeline, and I can't wait to see where it all ends up.
