The narrators are painful to listen. The character names are not pronounced the same, as in previous books not sure if i can go through the whole book. If you have such a long series, get the absolute right narrator and keep him all the way through. The children sound like creepy freaks. Very dissapointing. You have a picture in your mind of characters, which is then blown out the window. The previous book narrator was not crash hot either, but one gets used to what has been established. Audible could have better quality control.

Story
Her throne awaits ... if she can live long enough to take it. It was on her nineteenth birthday that the soldiers came for Kelsea Glynn. They'd come to escort her back to the place of her birth – and to ensure she survives long enough to be able to take possession of what is rightfully hers. But like many nineteen-year-olds, Kelsea is unruly, has high principles and believes she knows better than her elders.

It took a while to get into the story and trying to get the setting as to what timeline this story has... still not clear on that. unfortunately the Narrator did not make listening easy at all. the books should be narrated by Davina Porter first of all and not have 3 different ones. I'll persevere with book 2, as it is narrated by Davina

I have been reading these books for years. The remarkable talent and depth of the Author's writing leaves you wanting for more. it leaves you thinking, as many lessons are interwoven in these stories. Magicians End is an amazing conclusion to decades of enjoyment. The characters become like family to you, so shedding tears was part of the journey for me. A certain sadness is with me now I've come to the end. I thoroughly enjoyed the Audio versions. Peter Joyce has done an amazing job narrating. 2 books were narrated by someone else, which I did not enjoy. This is not the last time I will be listening to these works.

The penultimate volume of the mighty Riftwar Cycle. War rages in Midkemia but behind the chaos there is disquieting evidence of dark forces at work. Jim Dasher’s usually infallible intelligence network has been cleverly dismantled; nowhere is safe. He feels that the world is coming apart at the seams and is helpless to protect his nation. The second novel of a major Feist acquisition, returning to his best-loved series. Written with Joel Rosenberg. The second Riftwar collaboration, Murder in LaMut, written by masters of fantasy Raymond E. Feist and Joel Rosenburg. The heavy action was supposedly at Crydee these days, which meant that the one place they could be sure the three of them were not going was Crydee.

Somehow this book just didnt feel right, almost as if someone totally different wrote it. The other Land mystery was missing, the language just didnt fit. I devoured the other books, this one i just can’t get past half way. Not sure about the narrater either. I read these books years ago and enjoyed the audiobooks thus far. I still have a few to go, hopefully i will enjoy them. The kanguage is what bothered me the mist, it just didnt suit the setting of the book... too modern maybe, xant put my finger on it.
