Welcome to the Sunrise of a new Sigler blast in to the far reaches of the Galaxy. If you love the GFL like me then this book is sure to please. No spoilers but finally answers a lot of long running questions I've had and of course introduced hundreds more. Was good to have read The Reef and Title Fight novellas before for a little extra background but not essential if you've only read the first 5 books you'll still enjoy.
Thanks yet again Mr Sigler! Bring on book 7! 😁❤👍🏼

Story
The sun is bloated, diseased, dying perhaps. Beneath its baneful light, Shadrapar, last of all cities, harbours fewer than 100,000 human souls. Built on the ruins of countless civilisations, Shadrapar is a museum, an asylum, a prison on a world that is ever more alien to humanity. Bearing witness to the desperate struggle for existence between life old and new is Stefan Advani: rebel, outlaw, survivor. This is his testament, an account of the journey that took him into the blazing desolation of the western deserts and into the labyrinths and caverns of the underworld.

Guy Montag is a fireman. In his world, where television rules and literature is on the brink of extinction, firemen start fires rather than put them out. His job is to destroy the most illegal of commodities, the printed book, along with the houses in which they are hidden. Montag never questions the destruction and ruin his actions produce, returning each day to his bland life and wife, Mildred, who spends all day with her television "family."

In Zero Day Code we see those immense and open, hyper-complex, networked supercities of the new millennium die. And in the last moments we see their vengeance take form as all the best and worst traits of humanity bubble to the surface.

One of his most enjoyable and best written reads yet. Though not quite as scary as Earthcore because we already knew what was coming.
Thanks Scott. Keep them coming... can't wait for the Gangster!

Kept me well entertained and considering you get the entire series (60+hours) for just one credit it's a must listen to for any scifi fan that's a tight ass with money like me. 😁

Story
Civil war looms in the Bobiverse in this brand-new, epic-length adventure by Audible number one best seller Dennis E. Taylor. More than a hundred years ago, Bender set out for the stars and was never heard from again. There has been no trace of him despite numerous searches by his clone-mates. Now Bob is determined to organize an expedition to learn Bender’s fate - whatever the cost. But nothing is ever simple in the Bobiverse. Bob’s descendants are out to the 24th generation now, and replicative drift has produced individuals who can barely be considered Bobs anymore.

Exclusive to Audible! Listen to a discussion between the author and the narrator of The Widow at the end of this recording. We've all seen him: the man - the monster - staring from the front page of every newspaper, accused of a terrible crime. But what about her: the woman who grips his arm on the courtroom stairs - the wife who stands by him? Jean Taylor's life was blissfully ordinary. Nice house, nice husband. Glen was all she'd ever wanted: her Prince Charming.

Listened to it with my lady and was captivating
Reviewed: 30-07-2020
I listened to this book over several weeks with my partner in split parts for a weekly thing to do together.
We both thoroughly enjoyed the book. The whole premise of the reporter, detective and a guilty persons spouse was well laid. We found enough detail provided to keep us satisified and there was thankfully no gory descriptions.
The twists and plot left us wondering "did he do it did she do it was it someone else" the whole book more than once! By the end we enjoyed it so much we had a few weekend binge listens and completed it in about a month instead of the 3 we had planned.
The narrator was easy for us to listen to. The voices of the characters were varied and used different speech types providing for a good smooth nondistracting flow so we could easily tell who was saying what that we enjoyed as we weren't left wondering "who just said that" and getting muddled up all the time like in some other books we have listened to previously.
The after interview with the author and narrator were packed full of extra tidbits and the banter between them flows quite well for a great and interesting interview. We encourage others to try this one out. Time well spent.
