I really enjoyed this audio book. It went in depth with great detail, stories and real life anecdotes about what happens when we lose conscious thought and go into auto-pilot.

I enjoyed looking at my own habits and how I can create a better understanding why certain events in my life unfolded as they have.

I look forward to seeing how I can consciously change my habits and help others do the same.

How do you feel about setting goals? I’ve heard people say they feel energized, depressed, confused, terrified, pumped, ambivalent, lost...or all of the above. Here’s what I’ve realized: Our relationship to success is inside-out. When we make our New Year’s resolutions, bucket lists, big plans, or weekly to-dos, we’re hoping that when we "arrive" we’ll be fulfilled. Our hearts will swell as we cross the finish line, and then we can finally relax and savor our happiness. Except more often than not, that doesn’t happen....

On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

I loved this. Thank you Brene Brown for taking us on this journey.

I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to Bremen as she shared her experiences and what she learnt through her studies. she allowed me to connect on a personal and put my own experiences in context and I easily related her stories to my own.

this is an amazing resource for personal development and growth.

This was a long listen but one that was well worth it on my journey of self exploration and personal development.

I always thought I had an additive personality, this book showed that I probably don't although it also showed how some, or most of my personality traits are attributed to my early childhood.

The book goes in depth to explain why and how addicts become addicts and the frank discussion about Dr Mate's own addictions shows us that we are all just human.

I may not be addicted to drugs and I'm glad that they were never an option available to me but I have my own addictive tendancies and will power issues.

the struggle continues and we all continue on our own journeys.

If you want a great read on how we can address our societies problems, then this book is a great place to start.

Why are some people and organizations more innovative, more influential, and more profitable than others? Why do some command greater loyalty from customers and employees alike? Even among the successful, why are so few able to repeat their successes over and over? People like Martin Luther King, Jr.; Steve Jobs; and the Wright Brothers might have little in common, but they all started with why. Their natural ability to start with why enabled them to inspire those around them and to achieve remarkable things.

Now, in Whole, he explains the science behind that evidence, the ways our current scientific paradigm ignores the fascinating complexity of the human body, and why, if we have such overwhelming evidence that everything we think we know about nutrition is wrong, our eating habits haven’t changed.
