Amazing!
Demi has been one of my favourite actors for years. This memoir shows her vulnerability. By sharing her struggles and background it makes you feel completely empathetic and you connect with struggles you may have had through your own life. Bravo Demi, I loved every chapter.

I was confused at first with the characters nationality and surprised to learn he was English/African and the narrator has a very strong Spanish accent. The story is both insightful and sometimes hard to take as you can't imagine how hard life is in such a corrupt and violent prison. However it was a bit too long hence the 4 rather than 5 stars.

Tina Turner, what an icon. This story was entertaining and gave great insight I to her thoughts, feelings and journey of her life. I loved her honestly and strength. The only downside is she hasn't narrated it. But after learning she has had a stroke I did understand. However the narrators voice could be annoying and the slow southern drawl got frustratingly irritating at times

Boring, tedious and disappointed

I've thoroughly enjoyed every Karen Slaughter book so far so settled in for this story thinking I was getting the same. It went on and on not really going anywhere... the narrator was terrible and I had to ask for my credit back, I just couldn't persevere.

A wonderful story that keeps you interested

I have been watching, listening and enjoying Jennifer Saunders for nearly 35 years and she has always made me laugh with her engaging witt and silly sense of humour. Hearing her tell.her own stories was such a pleasure. BTW Jenn.... I really find yoghurt commercials annoying too ;)

Brilliantly written and produced!
