I guess it was scary/fresh 60 years ago. Entertaining regardless, better than hill house too.

old fashioned but ok. the author could have been much more creative with the wishes. I know it was supposed to teach you that wishes don't work- but their inept wishing just made me frustrated.

I loved this book and have read it many times. From just reading this story I feel like I know John and Tim and but I'm sad I'll never meet them. Their love was so amazing and it's touched so many people.

Very creative story. I do no regret listening.

There are moments of sexism and homophobia but also I feel like it could be argued the reader is (slightly) encouraged to question this narrative through Mike.

Not a satisfying ending.

Not scary, contains way too much unexplained behaviour. Weird/bad. The protagonist is incredibly annoying. If you're waiting for it to get better, it doesn't. Scary bad.
