overall, if you always wondered what a radio play was like, to have a government in place that supports the arts. its a nice fantasy to put this on & imagine turning on your radio & hearing this, what a treat it would of been...
otherwise, these performances relie too heavily on you having read the book recently so you know what parts are cut out to know what's up, which are pretty much all the non spoken sparts. and seeing as there are whole "movie in your mind." style audio books out there, not a lot of this holds up out side small geek moments.
these are all very good books & audio books, but these radio plays where a thing of there time.

Story
Civil war looms in the Bobiverse in this brand-new, epic-length adventure by Audible number one best seller Dennis E. Taylor. More than a hundred years ago, Bender set out for the stars and was never heard from again. There has been no trace of him despite numerous searches by his clone-mates. Now Bob is determined to organize an expedition to learn Bender’s fate - whatever the cost. But nothing is ever simple in the Bobiverse. Bob’s descendants are out to the 24th generation now, and replicative drift has produced individuals who can barely be considered Bobs anymore.

chumugin (spelling?)
Reviewed: 11-10-2020
honestly I was just going to meh lvl this book a bit, hope the writer shuts down bob & take up this world from someone else's point of view & hope it expanded its world setting from there , accept this as a mid way point book, BUT:
On the whole, the book sets up a problem with only having one bob personality type, even with there difrancrances, gets you to complain about it in your head like a bob, oh boooob, complaining about the complaining of the chumugin (spelling?) makes me one with the bob haha, maybe pick up on the bob personality fixation personallty change, ect, and dose get there in the end with adding in & tying a bow on others to bounce off of besides themselves.
tech talk is as always interesting, oddly enough the only time something came up I didn't know was a codeing term for something that's old and going out of use these days, so possibly not even a thing when bob is supposed to die, I mostly poo poo it for not being a concept.

I was a just normal guy until the night the cherry blossoms bloomed, the night that Grace appeared on my doorstep. A failed sci-fi writer, a gamer, but a normal guy nonetheless. Grace was everything I was not - a psychic shifter, beautiful beyond my wildest imagination, a government conspiracy waiting to be unraveled. And that was before the second superpowered woman showed up to kill us both. Â

wile the guy is smart enough to know his building blocks and i can see where people were pulled along to keep going, i for one felt like the characters were lacking so much, that no amount of voice acting could save this. and the whole "im a writer." thing had me feeling like i was back in the new writers section on fanfiction. net
got this one on a whim, i should of pressed stop as soon as it said "harem." but i thought i was saying the authors name.

i honestly think that the book might be the better option for this one kinda like how gaurds gaurds is funner read then the audio vs. a lot of the humor "think time" was definitely infused into the guy with 8th grader syndrome.
i can totally see what is being made fun of in the gen story going over people's heads.
