What a great simple, uncomplicated story of life and the little things. Throughly enjoyed it.

Definitely not her best work but was good enough for me to finish the trilogy. The characters are a bit annoying and despite the good narration the overall story was ok. Would recommend several other P.S books before these ones.

Not her best work by far but I’m committed to see the series out because I usually love her books. The story skims over some big events and still has a very annoying female lead each time Julian tries to find her. The portrayal of Maori is terrible and the ‘kiwi’ accent (which I know is hard to replicate) detracted from the story for me because I was cringing so often.

Not as good as the 1st or 2nd in the series

I found the recording would miss the first word of many of the starting sentences which made the story annoying to follow at times. I loved the 1st book in the series and found this book was overshadowed by the semantics of casting spells etc. I hope there’s another book and it’s better than this one.

Great narration which sums up the characters well. Enjoyable story with enough twists and turns to keep you interested!
