Silke Tobeler was born in Hamburg and spent her childhood and teenage years in Singapore. Today she divides her time with her family between Hamburg, Brandenburg, and Berlin. She is the author of short stories and essays, which have appeared in art books and anthologies.
Tobeler’s work blends psychological suspense with a surreal twist. Her stories dive into contemporary life, unearthing shadows and hidden layers of reality. Beyond her novels, she shares her passion for storytelling as a creative writing teacher and co-curates a small stage for writing-works in progress.
