Sandra Harnisch-Lacey, originally from Germany, gained a diploma at the Desmond Jones School of Mime and Physical Theatre and then went on to study at the Laban Centre for Movement and Dance where she graduated with a BA(Hons) in Dance Theatre.  Her previous dance work has been performed in Germany, Austria, Slovenia, France, Luxembourg and Canada. Sandra served as Artistic Director for Dance at The Gate Arts Centre, Cardiff, where her company  Harnisch-Lacey Dance Theatre is now resident. She is also recipient of the Sylvia Bodmer Award of the Laban Centre of Movement and Dance in 1997 and was nominated for the Ffresh Award 2004. She is the co-author of People Like Us (Zondervan 2011), with Steve Stickley.
