From ages eight to eleven, she cherished poetry, though she lost touch with it for many years—until she found it again. She shares, “I don’t know whether I discovered poetry or if it found me first. Yet, I believe we both were in search of one another. As Rumi said, "What you seek is seeking you."" Russo Shanidze holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Studies and Television Broadcasting from the University of Westminster in London. Her professional journey led her into the exciting world of international television broadcasting and production. Now, Russo infuses her childhood joy and resilience into creating inspiring stories for children. She raised two sons as a single mother. Currently, she lives in Los Angeles with her younger son, where she continues to write, explore nature, and nurture her creative talents.
