Robin Overby Cox (1955- ) was born in Augsburg, Germany, and has been committed to her military roots all her life. Raised around the globe, she now calls College Station, Texas her home. A graduate of Killeen High School, Killeen, Texas, Florida State University, Tallahassee, and the University of South Florida, Tampa, she values education gained through life lessons as well as the classroom. Mother of five, grandmother of six, teacher, librarian, friend...these are all roles that define her spirit and tenacity. She derives her inspiration from the people and places that symbolize courage, freedom, and diversity. As a children's librarian, she has a unique insight regarding what children love to read, as well as what children need to read to become lifelong learners. The author collaborated with Shilo Harris to write Steel Will: My Journey Through Hell to Become the Man I Was Meant to Be, Baker Publishing Group, September 2014. She also collaborated with Russ Murphy to write Not Alone: Finding the Love of Your Life, Russ Murphy Ministries, October 2015.
