Raj Badhwar has 30 years of experience in IT and Cybersecurity. He’s had several IT/Security leadership roles – Currently the SVP - Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) & Head of IT Infrastructure at Jacobs Solutions, formerly the Advisory CISO at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), the SVP & Global CISO at Voya Financial, SVP & Global Head of Information Security at AIG, and IT/Security leader at BAE Systems Inc., Bank of America, and AOL Time Warner.
Raj is a certified information systems security professional (CISSP), a certified ethical Hacker (CEH), Oracle cloud certified professional (OCP), ITIL v3, and a FINRA licensed securities professional (Series 99). He has authored six IT and Cybersecurity books - IT Collaboration by Design: New Practices for Leadership and Trust, Generative AI: Strategies for Risk Management and Secure Implementations, The CISO Guide to Incident Response, The CISO Guide to Zero Trust Security, The CISO’s Next Frontier: AI, Post-Quantum Cryptography and Advanced Security Paradigms, and The CISO’s Transformation: Security leadership in a high threat landscape. He has co-authored 14 security patents, written many security articles for magazines and presented at leading security conferences.
He received the Top CISO award for the years 2021-2026, and IT leadership awards for the years 2021, 2025.
Raj serves on the CxO Trust Council of Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the advisory board of directors for The Cybersecurity Hall of Fame, and the cybersecurity advisory board for Pace University. He is the former board member and secretary of the National Technology Security Coalition (NTSC) and an active member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
Raj graduated from George Washington University (GWU) with a M.S. in Information Systems Technology, and from Karnatak University with a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
