Peter J. Storm was born in Woodbury, NJ in 1976. He enlisted in the Air Force immediately after high school; later becoming commissioned into the officer corps as a Bio-environmental Engineering Officer. During his military career, he received various decorations and was deployed to both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in support of Air Force operations. Afterwards, Peter worked within the industry in a variety of roles; including as a Metrologist, Remotely Operated Robotic Submarine (ROV) Pilot/Maintainer, Research Biomedical Engineer for two different organizations, Biomedical Equipment Technician, and Radiological Equipment Specialist, before eventually becoming a Staff Biomedical Engineer, and later Engineering Manager within the federal civilian workforce. Within the scientific community, Peter has been both published and awarded a patent for his contributions related to the design and testing of a specialized catheter for acute ischemic stroke, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Peter's true passion, however, is philosophy; including its various subtypes of Religion, Ethics, and Politics. Due to his eclectic, heavily scientific background, which is uncommon among writers on philosophical topics, he brings a unique and refreshing perspective to these fields and is unafraid to challenge long-established dogma within them.
