Born into a Wiccan family in 1973 in Minnesota, Leonie has lifelong first-hand experience with the religion and its traditions, values and ways of life. After graduation, Leonie took to Europe, where she traveled with and lived side by side with various covens and other paganist groups such as the Slovakian Rodnovers and Celtic Neopagans. “It was a life-changing experience for me as it made me realise that there are so many different ways to live a fulfilled life. There are pieces of wisdom embedded within most religions and cultures. It is our job as human beings to put the pieces together.” she says. During her travels, she also became more intimate with magick. Being a firm believer in peace and harmony between people, Sage used her new-found abilities to help people with problems in their everyday life by helping them find inner peace. In 2016, she poured her knowledge down into a series of books that immediately received a great deal of positive feedback from her brothers and sisters back in Europe. As of recently, they are now available on Amazon. “In today’s turbulent world, the focus is too often put on the differences between people” she explains. “I believe it is essential for Wiccans and other magicians alike to set aside these differences and work together towards more sustainable and lasting relationships between humans and Earth”.
