The author Julio M Lara, was indoctrinated by Fidel Castro’s 26 of July Movement, since he was 14 years old, he fought next to Che Guevara and in a very short period of time, they made out of this God-fearing, animal-loving, Christian child, an efficient killing machine. Later, when the Castro regime turned on his own family, took his lands, his wealth, and arrested his father, he realized that they were part of the bourgeois class that supposedly had to be eliminated. Once again; he had to fight to defend his homeland. Them he fled into the hills—a hunted fugitive. Castro sent nearly 100,000 of his soldiers after less than 3,000 men in his insurrectionists’ army. He removed the peasants from the area, destroyed their sources of food, and surrounded with a large military force. That year, he spent three months fighting vicious battles inside that circle and running every day for his lives. During a one month period he was able to eat only three meals. They stayed alive by drinking fetid green water from ponds and eating whatever they could find. Only 41 of them miraculously survived out of those 3,000 men. The rest were killed or imprisoned. For whatever reason, he was spared—perhaps to write this book of warning. Finally he gets diplomatic protection and was able to escape to Venezuela, After his indoctrination and the two revolutions he spends over 25 years as mad men, a traumatized ex-soldier. Never less he was able to establish his own business. Later in his life Julio starts to combat communism and spend the rest of his life working in the elimination of that evil ideology. In 1987 Julio found God and became a new born Christian. Julio has 6 children, wife of 44 years, and now he live in Sebring, FL as a retiree with his wife. Since 2008 Julio had been an activist and a writer. By 2016 Julio had 7 books six of then from the Series Exposing “Communism”. Julio doesn’t have any plan to stop his work for freedom.
