Karnel Erickson is a savvy ethical hacker and a book author.
Originally from Germany, (he moved to Atlanta when he was a kid) Karnel loves playing memory games and reading novels, but he’s passion since he was a little kid was always towards computers and hacking.
Growing up, Karnel decided to dive deep into the subject and he graduated at Emory University, getting the CEH qualification.
This passion became a job opportunity and he was hired as an expert consultant in different companies all over the world where he was monitoring the vulnerability of the security network. Full of new ideas, he decided to start teaching what he learned in all his years of experience. He started to organize workshops where the main topic was “how to learn hacking in an ethical way?”. He had such a great success that he finally decided to put those lessons into books.
Thanks to his books, he got in contact with other authors of the field and he started a collaboration for the developing of innovative software solutions and the creation of the website CodingHood.
