I live in Newquay in Cornwall. A sea view to me is everything. That flat horizon line is all I need. Anything else feels like I'm trapped. I have always loved nature. froms trees to bees. When my children grew up I took a look at life and wondered what I would really like to do. So I went and did an access course to get into uni. I had no chance with the grades I got at school. I did access to science and went on to enrole on the Wildlife Education and Media foundation degree. Its based in a small campus behind the zoo here in my home town. From there I went on to do a BSc Hons in Marine Zoology. Durring my time at uni. One of our assignments was to create a product promoting behaviour change to aid conservation. I chose to write and illustrate a book. I had good feedback for the assignment so sent the book to some publishers during the first lock down in 2020. I was really lucky to have it picked up and here it is. I've had some great interviews since completing my degree earlier this year. But no success yet. So I'm currently a barista that knows about fish. I continue to draw and write and hope to publish again in the future. Thanks for reading my bio.
