Daniel Wright is a forty-something author. In his youth he took up the ancient craft of pyrography and in time became one of the U.K’s leading practitioners of this craft. In 2004 whilst in his mid-20s and working in education, he published ‘Introduction to Pyrography’. This book is widely acknowledged as one of the most technically comprehensive publications of this craft, it became a staple of pyrographers around the globe and was published in four languages. In 2018 the book was re-released in the Search Press Classics range as ‘The Art of Woodburning’. Daniel Wright now works as an Auctioneer and lives in the heart of Suffolk, England with his partner Georgi and their two children.
