D.S. Lucas is the mother of two teenage daughters, two dogs, one kitty and wife to one husband. She lives in Northwestern Pennsylvania where she is a full-time English teacher. She loves talking to people of all ages, learning their stories, and telling her own. She writes personal and humorous essays, contemporary fiction, and short stories of various genres. She also composed a spiritual memoir of her life with her father. She thrives when reading, writing, and running.
