Having made a career out of making things up, from imagining a system for recycling in the middle of a warzone, to re-ordering the layout of every house she visits in her head, Charlotte concluded the next logical step was writing stories.
Possessed with a phobia of anything resembling research, Charlotte decided fantasy was the genre for her, where her over-active mind can wander into whatever realm she creates that day. However, as a self-confessed geek, she couldn’t help throwing in a bit of sci-fi, and so the genre-fusing series that is the Gallantrian Legacy was born.
When she’s not making up stories, Charlotte likes to play soldiers, but usually just at the weekends where she masquerades as an Officer in the British Army. Weekdays see her bashing her house to bits, collecting scars and trying not to bleed on the new skirting boards. The rest of her time is spent running around after her two young sons and her husband in rural West Yorkshire.
