Arturo López Valerio is a technological entrepreneur, a pioneer in the use and application of ICT for the sophistication of business and innovation in the area of ​​marketing. With just over two decades of experience in the Internet industry, he has been a pioneer in cloud computing, eCommerce, digital marketing, media monetization and the development of mobile applications in the Dominican Republic, which he has promoted from the private sector, media, and social activism. As an entrepreneur, he has been the co-founder of more than eleven projects and/or technology-based companies. He has also been responsible for the entry into the market of multinational brands such as Terra®, TopicFlower®, Meshh®, Sindyk®, StartupsAcademy®, among others. In addition, he is an active evangelist in the adoption of new technologies for entrepreneurs, small and large companies through the consultancy Tabuga®. In 2010, he was appointed as National Expert for the Dominican Republic by the World Summit Awards (WSA), flagship initiative of the United Nations and its Global Alliance for ICT and Development (GAID), which emphasizes diversity and cultural identity, the creation of varied information content and the digitization of educational, scientific and cultural heritage.
