Aaron Hartzler has written standup comedy, one-man shows, billboards, books, essays, screenplays, and a great number of tweets. His first book, RAPTURE PRACTICE (2013) is a true story about his own high school experience. The New York Times called Rapture Practice "effervescent and moving, evocative and tender." It was also named one of Amazon's Best Books of 2013, and was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award. His second book is a novel called WHAT WE SAW (2015). Aaron lives at the beach in Los Angeles with his husband Brant and their two rescue dogs, Charlie and Brahms.
