This was my first history book and also my first American history book so I am not able to compare to others.
I really learned so much. I found information easy to follow, it was well organized. I like this in a book. The narrator does a fantastic job. I liked his voice, it seemed made for history books.
I also ended up buying the kindle version, this really helped because:
* Audible does not have chapter titles! Grrr!!!! I bookmarked Audible chapters myself. It helps to plan and break down your read.
* You can search for a word/phrase and pick an appropriate chapter if needed.
* Easier to highlight/bookmark
* Helps to really digest the wealth of information.
I would recommend both sources if you want to really digest the information. Also see the website resources. I find it frustrating that Kindle and Audible versions are sold separately. As two entirely different products. It does not make sense.
