A freebie win! This is so full of wholesome goodness without being stodgy and preachy, I really enjoyed it. There is tragedy, grief and regret in the background for both Cassie and Noah and I love how they work their way forward to new beginnings in their own ways, helped (or hindered, sometime they aren't sure!) by their loving extended families. The story is gentle, wistful, full of feeling and emotion, humorous and wise. The romantic element unfolds with great charm and sensitivity, clean without sanitising the story of all sensual feeling. And the characters are natural, and have a great deal of charm and human appeal. A lovely read.
