I like this cd, to me it's more hypnosis than meditation but i enjoy it when i'm relaxing at night. At first i wasn't sure about Glenn's voice but i got used of it and ended up liking it. Good helpful cd!!

Sorry to be the party pooper, but this CD is not for me. As others have stated, certain techniques are better for some people. There is no preparation or introduction to this CD. I am used to visualizing and concentrating on relaxing muscle groups in succession as a technique. But this CD relies merely on the presenter's voice for around twenty minutes. And he has a voice like Del Boy. There's no getting round this fact and as you continue listening, along with giggle-inducing images of Del Boy selling this CD at the market stall, is the increasing irritation of his voice. I've used the CD for over a week now and have not noticed any significant improvement in myself, either when I am listening to the CD or afterwards.
I have liked every Glenn Harrold hypnosis CD I've bought except Deep Sleep Every Night. And it is the second track, Lucid Dreams for Problem Solving, on that one that I don't like. If you could wake up enough to turn the player off after Deep Sleep, I'd recommend that one too. (My lucid dreams were too weird. Which probably means either I'm weird or my problems are weird if my lucid dreams were meant to help me solve my problems...which I didn't know I had....)
Creating Inner Peace & Calm is good. My very favorite Glenn Harrold tracks are The Healing White Light on A Guided Meditation and one of the tracks on Something Something Positive Something Something. I loaned it and can't remember the name. ;-)
I had bought Glen's CD - Guided Meditation a while back and loved it so much that I bought a couple more of his CD's. I listed to this on my IPOD during my lunch break and felt so peaceful, calm, and happy soon after. I came back to work and was very productive and focused yet calm. I really recommend this to anyone who wants to feel peace, happy, and positive.

I have one other Glenn Harrold CD on healing your body. I like this one on creating peace within during all these stressful world and local events. I like the second session on this CD as I really don't feel I need the long explanation he gives on abdominal breathing that is presented on the first of two relaxation sessions on this CD. His British accent is very soothing for me and most of the time I am sleeping before the completion of the talks.
When I read all the five star reviews, I knew I had to have this CD. But when I tried it out, I was a little disappointed. It did help me relax, so it does work. But I wasn't able to reach the same deep levels of peace and relaxation that I had gotten from another CD progam--The FAST Technique for Stress Relief by Dr. Ronald Nathan. (EXTREMELY relaxing and calming CDs by the way!)
Even though Creating Inner Peace and Calm wasn't as helpful as I had hoped, I will probably give it another try. I mean, it did have an effect. Maybe the results improve the more you use it.
I tried every day for over a week to listen to this CD. I rarely got through the session without "popping out" because of something he said in his nasal tone of voice, or, worse, because of his occasional lapse into bad grammar.
I have several relaxation CDs that I love. I won't be going back to this one.
