About this listen
But when young Muslim men on the Terror Watchlist start turning up dead, Sid and his partner, Haifa, have to work out what's going on.
Sectarian war? Drugs? Retribution? For Sid, there's nothing unclear about a bullet to the head and a severed hand. Someone is sending a message.
Deciphering that message reveals a much wider threat and Sid and the agency have to decide just how far they'll go to prevent a deadly attack.
Time is running out ... for them and Australia.
From the brutal battlegrounds of Afghanistan, to the western Sydney suburbs and the halls of power in Canberra, THE LIST is a page-turning thriller where justice, revenge and the war on terror collide.

If you could sum up The List in three words, what would they be?
See aboveWhat other book might you compare The List to, and why?
I have read very few books like this, but John le Carre's books come to mind.Which character – as performed by Peter Phelps – was your favourite?
Sid was the dominant character, and so perhaps my favourite. I must say there were times I was wondering who was who - perhaps there were too many characters in the book. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The moment when Haifa realized her brother was probably mixed up in IS-type terrorism.Any additional comments?
I enjoyed this book a lot. As far as I know there are few if any books about terrorist threats to contemporary Australia, and this one is well-constructed and written - though as I say i got confused at times. I can imagine it being filmed.Gripping political thriller
