About this listen

In the Asterian system lies Mytopia, a planet shaped by centuries of conflict and the legends that arose from them. Once a land of powerful North Landers, known for their ruthless conquests, Mytopia descended into chaos as the North sought to claim the abundant resources of the South.

After a brutal war lasting over a century, the survivors united to forge a new civilization in a less affected land. As they rebuilt, a Council of Elders was formed to guide the people, but divisions soon emerged between the Above Landers, who thrived on agriculture and dominance, and the Below Landers, who embraced a more harmonious relationship with nature. The Below Landers, rejecting the Elders' oppressive mandates, retreated into the depths of the earth, marking the Great Divide.

In the wake of this separation, the Above Landers established a facility to control reproduction, designating women as Breeders to ensure the survival of their dwindling population. As the years passed, the Above Landers developed methods to manipulate birth rates, leading to a society that appeared stable and content. However, beneath the surface, tensions simmered, and the scars of the past threatened to resurface. As the story unfolds, the fragile peace of Mytopia is poised for upheaval.

With the Below Landers still lurking in the shadows and the consequences of the Elders' decisions looming large, the true legacy of their divided world is about to be challenged. Will the people of Mytopia find a way to reconcile their differences, or will the cycle of conflict begin anew?
