the story and narration were all great but the background music and sound effect are extremely annoying and distracting when trying to listen. It was like having lift music playing continuously. i almost gave up listening. I hope this isn't going to be a new feature to audio books

So enjoyed this story that is the start of a great series. Getting to know all the power players that are in future books. Loved their story of lies, secrets and betrayal. And that their love survived it all.
Narration was awesome.

The music and background noise makes it soooo overwhelming and over stimulating. Wish it was like Belles and Mobsters series considering this is almost a prequel to that series…

Ive loved this book for a while but…

I really wanted to enjoy it, but the music was distracting, and the kissing noises gave me the icks. Both narrators could have carried the story without all the extras.
