The place was empty for the most part, but there was evidence it was used by local kids occasionally as a hangout. There was a mattress on the floor and a few empty beer cans. He imagined that the retail surroundings kept it from getting too overrun. There were still some old office furniture in one of the rooms, and he probably would have paid more attention to everything, but it was hard as hell because Angie appealed way too much.
