I can’t believe I’m saying this but this was too spicy. It was questionably spicy. They were like bonobos, everything revolved around spice, resolved with spice…

There were some plot holes… 🕳️ and it dragged on a little at times - very long book and I’m not left convinced that everything there needed to be there.

I’m very much going to be reading the next book in this series, I’m keen to see what comes next. It was entertaining, non-stop, spicy, and romantic, with good banter, and a good amount of mystery.

It's hard to find a spicy book with well written spicy scenes, a good storyline with a plot that builds well and isnt incredibly obvious, that is both well written and well narrated...
but this is it.
I honestly did not expect to get so hooked on this, I have been listening to spicy audiobooks while at the gym, but this one I ended up binging once I got far enough into the story that I couldn't wait to see what happened.

I am AuDHD, so I'm picky af, especially when it comes to narrators, so please take that into account as well, when I say how good it was.

Highly recommend this one.

(Slight spoilers) This book had me encapsulated from the beginning. It was gentle, intense and understanding from each of the main characters. I did find the ending more abrupt then I would I would of liked it too, where throughout the book I found there was time taken to explain each part in depth, then in the last chapters there was no explanation of who was running the kingdom or where it left Tems loved ones, or where she stood with the Royals. Maybe it was supposed to be perceived as a cliff hanger, I’m unsure. But loved this book overall. One last thing (more for audible, I wish they had used male voices for the MMC’s)

This was such a fast paced listen , every chapter kept it going so well and there was not one moment where I felt like it was boring. what I will say over and over again is you are not prepared no matter how much you think you are this book will surely prove you wrong .
