Publisher's Summary

For humans and vampires, the rules of survival are the same: never trust, never yield, and always–always–guard your heart.

The adopted human daughter of the Nightborn vampire king, Oraya carved her place in a world designed to kill her. Her only chance to become something more than prey is entering the Kejari: a legendary tournament held by the goddess of death herself.

But winning won’t be easy amongst the most vicious warriors from all three vampire houses. To survive, Oraya is forced to make an alliance with a mysterious rival.

Everything about Raihn is dangerous. He is a ruthless vampire, an efficient killer, an enemy to her father’s crown…and her greatest competition. Yet, what terrifies Oraya most of all is that she finds herself oddly drawn to him.

But there’s no room for compassion in the Kejari. War for the House of Night brews, shattering everything that Oraya thought she knew about her home.

In a kingdom where nothing is more deadly than love, Raihn may understand her more than anyone, but their blossoming attraction could be her downfall.

The Serpent and the Wings of Night is the first book in the Crowns of Nyaxia series, a heart-wrenching romance full of dark magic and bloodthirsty intrigue.

Gosh Dang!

I devoured this book. It had fantasy, hot gorgeous vampire, a kick ass human protagonist, and secrets. So many delectable secrets. So many undesirable ones, too. The plot twists, my gosh & the last one! no one in their wildest dreams could imagine. Yeaaah....so while you decipher my comment, I'mma be right over there buying & reading book 2.😁

Glad book two and the two stand-alone books are already available. I'm excited to see what happens next.

I’m hooked

Really good! Loved this was easy to listen to and the story had me interested really quickly, my only complaint is that it’s quite short!

Brilliant

The story was well paced with extremely compelling characters and plot, reminiscent of the Hunger Games with a very original twist, and the narrator did the most amazing job expressing the emotions of the scenes. Best audiobook I've listened to so far, highly highly recommend.

I’m hooked

This book was so good. It was part Hunger Games (the need to unalive everyone), part Fourth Wing (training, trails and challenges), part ACOTAR (the magic and teaming up with an unlikely ally) and part Twilight (ok that one might be a bit of a stretch, but there are vampires).

There was plenty of action as we learnt all about why this little human girl was so set on making her mark in a world designed to unalive her. I liked the MC’s both together and apart and I can’t wait to read book two and see how I’m going to be crushed next.
