Story
No one has ever ventured deeper into space than the four astronauts of Shepherd-1. The aim of their mission is to witness the creation of the cosmos. Using the sun as a lens, they are to align a flock of probes in such a way that the moment of the Big Bang becomes visible. For astronomer Christine, this is a dream come true. So she is bitterly disappointed when the first images are obscured by a kind of veil that prevents any insight. She works obsessively to find a solution, but when she finally succeeds in lifting the veil, she sees something that would have been better kept hidden...

Dr. Tyson Klein is a quantum physicist who has dedicated his entire life to his research. At CERN, he analyses data generated by the Large Hadron Collider, the world's biggest and most powerful particle accelerator. Now, Ty believes he's found a pattern in its output. It looks like an organised data stream, being broadcast over what he calls a quantum radio. Could it be a signal from another universe? A message sent from the future? Or something else entirely?

A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

Publisher's Summary
Forget everything you know about reality. The quantum world doesn't play by those rules.
Daniel Rice is a government science investigator whose specialty is solving seemingly intractable problems through scientific inquiry.
But Daniel's intellectual strength is sorely tested by the bizarre realities he finds in the quantum world. Extra dimensions of space trap the unwary, probability replaces cause and effect, and time isn't what anyone imagined. The other side of the mirror is a place full of dangers, but it's also somewhere a dedicated scientist can uncover secrets that connect humans with something greater.

Last one the best
Could be a bit slow but overall engaging. Took a while for the first story to take off, pardon the pun.
The narrators not fantastic, but not bad either. The best of them was the male narrator who did the last book. But!! He kept pronouncing the name Jacqueline as if it actually had the Q in it. Jack- kwe- lun. It was sooooo annoying.
I couldn’t believe he would say it like that- can’t he remember talking about Jacqueline Kennedy? He also pronounced Vladivostok with the emphasis on the last syllable and a few other weird things.
But the jackwelyn thing was so annoying as it’s a mouthful and one of the main characters
Can’t believe no one corrected him.
